Murchison field testing

Murchison field testing

We like to test our straps in a variety of environments before we commit to a design. The Murchison is remote, dry and puts everything you carry through its paces.

This trip was one of the early field tests for what would become the Vincent. A prototype leather camera strap on a Canon AE-1 across a few days in the outback. The Vincent is a minimal 10mm wide leather strap and we wanted to make sure how it felt around the neck and how it handled a few days of walking up and down rocky hillsides. The results were positive and with a couple of minor design changes the Vincent is one of more popular straps.

The frames below were shot on a Canon AE-1 and Nikon FA with Cinestill ISO 50 from Focus Pocus lab in Fremantle.
