Henry and Wilde

Henry and Wilde is a small leather goods studio in Western Australia. Everything is handcrafted one piece at a time using traditional techniques and materials chosen for their quality and longevity.

The idea is simple. Make things that get better with age. Things that carry the marks of where you’ve been and what you’ve done. Things worth keeping.

Every piece is made using full grain vegetable tanned leather sourced from some of the world’s finest tanneries, paired with brass and stainless steel hardware, waxed thread — nothing synthetic, nothing unnecessary.

Vegetable tanning is a plant-based process that produces leather with genuine character. Each piece develops a rich patina that’s entirely your own. No two age exactly the same way.

The work is unhurried. Designs are refined slowly, stitched carefully and finished by hand. There are no shortcuts worth taking.

Western Australia is a long way from everywhere. That distance has a way of sharpening your focus on what matters — good materials, honest work and taking the time to do things properly.
