The Standard is our everyday rope camera strap — a handmade leather and rope strap made in Western Australia. Soft double braid rope, full grain leather ends, and solid construction designed to last.

Available in grey, olive, and black, The Standard is the most versatile rope camera strap in the Henry and Wilde range. The soft rope is easy to wear all day and bunches up nicely to fit in a bag or your jacket pocket when you have finished shooting. It suits film cameras, mirrorless cameras, travel shooters, and street photographers equally. 

The Australian-made double braid rope is soft, washable, and colour fast. The black Italian full grain leather ends are hand stitched with waxed thread. It attaches to lug-type cameras — including Fujifilm, Leica, Sony, Nikon, Canon, Olympus, and most film SLRs and rangefinders — via stainless steel split rings.

Two round leather lug protectors are included to protect your camera body where the split rings attach.

Care

Wipe the rope with a damp cotton or microfibre cloth. Do not immerse the leather ends in water. If the leather gets wet, dry in the shade. The rope is designed to withstand washing and UV exposure without fading.
